COVID-19 RESPONSE

Dear Customers,

The COVID-19 situation has evolved further and we are dealing with a significant global challenge. In these challenging times, communication with customer is utmost important to us.

In order to ensure the business continuity and to overcome this unique challenge, we have outlined the following priorities:


BUSINESS OPERATION

The health and safety of our employees and customers have always been our top priority and food & beverage products are essential to peoples' lives. As we are part of global food supply chain, our business is considered essential during this time and it is our obligation to support this nationwide effort and play our part as one of the key supplier for raw material. To comply with the Malaysian Movement Control (MCO), our employees are now working from home. However, please be assured that our employees are still responsive as usual with the full access to email and phone.


CUSTOMER’S ORDER AND PRODUCT DELIVERY

As a trustable supplier, our procurement team is working closely with our partners to ensure orders can be fulfilled without delay. For orders which have been placed by our customers in advance, the product supply is consistent and goods will be delivered according to the agreed time line.

In view of the global escalation of COVID-19 cases, further movement restrictions and limited availability of transportation may continue to cause some delays in logistic arrangement. We anticipate slightly longer lead time for each order may be imposed. In order to have less disruption in your requested products, we appreciate your kind assistance in providing your purchase forecast and orders in advance to minimize the impact on your production schedule. The following lead time may serve as a guide for planning moving forward:

  • Products from Europe: 8-11 weeks by sea
  • Products from Asia : 3-5 weeks by sea
  • Products from US : 9-12 weeks by sea

Please be informed that the lead time may continue to increase as the pandemic progresses uncontrollably. Nevertheless, we are pro-actively monitoring the situation to update our customers the status of each delivery on an on-going basis.


VISITOR POLICY

Our office and application lab are strictly following the protocols. Visitors are prohibited to enter our building area for now.


Understandably, there is a great sense of unease everywhere. Baccus will continue to provide support and timely updates every step of the way. We are confident in our contingency planning for situation as such, and we are committed to provide our superior services to our valued customers and partners
